PZ Cussons Carex Chemistry Challenge 2015

STAGE 1

The PZ Cussons Carex Chemistry Challenge for secondary schools commenced on the 7th of November 2015, with stage one garnering applications from over 500 public and private schools within Lagos State. Students converged at 10 centres across Lagos State to participate in the examination. Stage one turned out to be a huge success with 101 students qualifying for the second stage.

STAGE 2

The second stage of the competition held on the 14th of November at Immaculate Heart Senior Secondary School Maryland. Six schools had all their two candidates scaling the first stage. The schools were Cardoso Senior High School, Sango Senior Secondary School, Vetland Senior Grammar School, Top Grade Secondary School, International School of Lagos and The African Church Model College, Ifako. Officials from ICCON (Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria) and also the Lagos State Ministry of Education were on ground to witness and moderate the entire process.

The third and final stage of the competition will come up on the 12th of December 2015. Only four of the students will qualify for the final round of the challenge where the winner will eventually emerge.

 

Courtesy Visit in Abuja

The Corporate / PZ Wilmar team recently paid a courtesy visit on the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Akinwumi Adesina at his office.
